Sad to hear this. If I can tell, it's difficult for a mere mortal being like me, to have a dialogue with a world known author, a negotiation expert and professor at a world top university! Too wide the gap on knowledge, skills and authority. The only thing I (we) can do is listen and (try to) learn. I acknowledge your frustration: I'm trying to build a community of people who regularly practice negotiation, but whatever I (and my friends / club mates) do, seems we're not able to get traction.

I, selfishly, hope you'll find a way to continue this publication. Whatever decision you're going to make, I want to thank you for what you did.

Dear Prof Wheeler,

I loved your newsletter and always learned something. I wish I had made more comments to keep you equally engaged to this venture.

My biggest struggle has been the platform to be honest. Despite being a paid subscriber I kept on seeing messages to subscribe which made it an odd experience. Further gmail out back some of the mailing to the social category and thus missing it every now and then.

I hope you come back. It was a really nice way to continuously learn about such a critical topic.

Dear Professor Wheeler, I have loved your newsletter and have found it profoundly helpful, you always bring together an array of views and approaches and keep us updated about other authors’ works and ideas. Please don’t stop now!

Perhaps changing the format of comments, ie using a creative questionnaire which stimulates reflection and from that answers to specific cases or questions and which can simultaneously be used for your research or the research of colleagues (and if we participate we get to read the reports :) ) might be more fulfilling for you and the community of negotiators and students of negotiation? But pls don’t shut it down, your newsletter is the only one of its kind which brings together a creative collage of techniques, authors and negotiators as well students of this beautiful art!

Thank you for your insightful and intuitive content and wishing you a restful and recharging break 🙏🏻🌟

Hi Mike. I echo Eli's comment. I read and enjoy every single post, but forgot that participation counts for half my grade!

One suggestion might be to do more of the surveys and challenges. It seems like you got a good deal of audience participation with those posts (i.e. the posts about selling the lake house, bidding on the jar of coins, etc.).

I do appreciate you taking care of yourself though. That is more important than anything else.

Dear Professor Wheeler, I actually look forward to your content each week. Perhaps I could have engaged more, my fault, I apologize . You should know I value the insights, ideas, and conversations. I did take your course, which was amazing. As I negotiate almost daily in my career, the value I have received from Jazz has been immeasurable. Enjoy the summer break, and thank you for all the effort.

Professor Wheeler, I have been an avid reader of "The Jazz of Negotiation", which is always thought-provoking and door-opening! You have showed us how important it is to reflect on priorities and what you are trying to achieve, in business negotiations and the in broader context of life, and you are showing us by example that each of us is constantly negotiating with priorities, time and change. However you decide on the future of "Jazz of Negotiation", thank you for opening that door for your readers.
